Kartik & Anu invite you to our home to experience our Himalayan life at Saroga Woods. We welcome you to our sustainable and picturesque home @8000 ft with an uninterrupted view of the greater Himalayas, the Sutlej, & orchards.

Our humble abode is a stop for those looking for a break from the cacophony of life and enjoy a slice of peace in nature

We are jam-makers who moved our lives from Singapore to the mountains & have opened up our home for you to get a relaxing slice of life in the hills.
The space
Our home is very welcoming with a big terrace to relax, admire the view of the Himalayas and the Sutlej, read a book, chat and soak in the beautiful environment.

Ours is an eco-friendly home that generates its own solar power, saves rainwater, we grow some seasonal vegetables in our garden and we make delicious coffee and cake that you can have with our delicious fruit preserves.

We have a library that caters to everyone with more options for Sci-Fi and history readers. Sarogawoods has a small gym if you want to indulge yourself.
Our two bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms and one of the rooms has an enclosed balcony; other amenities include:

-Fiber internet
-Underfloor heating in the bedrooms
-Electrical under blankets for beds
-Geysers in both bathrooms
-Solar power and a generator backup for electricity
-Library
-Gymnasium
-Indoor board games

Use of all common areas like the lounge, terrace, vegetable garden, kitchen.

During your stay
My wife & I, your co-host Anu, live in the same house on the ground floor. Guests have their own floor and their privacy, and since we make and serve the meals, we are happy to socialize as much or as little as you like!

We love good music and hosting friends and family at our informal and very thoughtfully put-together home.

In Jan & Feb, only seasoned travelers with a 4x4 vehicle and some snow-driving experience should come due to the snow.
